This converter is built with high-strength 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, which means it's going to resist corrosion and last a long time. The tubing is mandrel-bent to maintain the original design and geometry, and Magnaflow uses a single laser fusion weld that greatly reduces the chance of exhaust leaks. They also replicate the OE spun body design, which helps with thermal efficiency. Because it's a direct-fit unit, installation is made simpler as it uses OE-sized barbed exhaust hangers and doesn't require any cutting or welding.
