This Magnaflow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter is what you get when you need to replace the original on your 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer with the 2.4L engine. It's designed to meet or exceed federal emissions requirements, helping to keep your check engine light off and your vehicle running cleanly. You'll receive the converter itself, along with a flange gasket to help ensure a proper seal during installation.

The tubing is mandrel-bent, which means it maintains its diameter throughout the bend, allowing exhaust gases to flow more freely than with crush-bent tubing. This helps maintain factory performance and fuel efficiency. The main body and hangers are made from stainless steel (16 gauge 409 for the tubing and 410 for the hangers) which is well-built to resist corrosion, giving it a longer service life. Magnaflow uses advanced 3D scanning during their research and development to ensure this converter fits and functions just like the original equipment, and the single laser fusion weld is designed to greatly reduce the possibility of leaks.

Because this is a direct-fit unit, installation is made simpler as it's designed to bolt right up to your existing exhaust system without the need for cutting or welding, provided you have the proper tools. This converter is EPA-compliant for federal emissions systems, but please note it is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
