This is a direct-fit replacement, meaning it's built to bolt right up to your 1996-2004 Volkswagen Golf, 1996-2002 Jetta, or 1995-1997 Passat without needing any cutting or welding. It’s constructed with highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel tubing, specifically 16-gauge 409 stainless steel for the tubing and 308 stainless steel for the MIG welds, which helps ensure a long service life.
MagnaFlow uses advanced 3D scanning during their research and development to ensure this converter replicates the original equipment's fit and function.
