Magnaflow builds this converter using 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, which is known for resisting corrosion and lasting a long time. The tubing is mandrel-bent to match the original factory design and geometry, helping to maintain the flow characteristics your engine expects. They use laser fusion welds on the spun body design, which greatly reduces the chance of leaks. The compact, low-mass design also helps with thermal efficiency.
