Magnaflow uses 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing for this converter, which is a well-built material that holds up well against corrosion, giving you confidence in its longevity. The tubing is mandrel-bent to ensure smooth exhaust flow, maintaining the performance and fuel efficiency your Town Car came with from the factory. They also use durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds and replicate the OE design closely, including a single laser fusion weld, to minimize the chance of exhaust leaks. This converter is designed to fit and function just like the original equipment.
