This MagnaFlow direct-fit catalytic converter is built with high-strength 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, offering excellent corrosion resistance for a long service life. It's designed to keep your check engine light off by meeting Federal emissions requirements for OBDII Federally registered vehicles. MagnaFlow uses advanced 3D scanning during development to ensure this converter fits and functions just like the original equipment on your 1999-2001 Mercedes-Benz ML430.
The converter features free-flowing mandrel-bent tubing and replicates the OE spun body design. A single laser fusion weld is used to greatly reduce the chance of leaks, and its compact, low-mass design helps with thermal efficiency. This direct-fit unit replaces OE parts like 163 490 12 36 and 163 490 14 14. You'll find it installs easily with the proper tools, as no cutting or welding is required.
