If your check engine light is on due to emissions issues, this converter is designed to help get that light off. It's built to meet or exceed Federal emissions requirements set by the EPA, making it compliant for OBDII Federally registered vehicles with California or Federal/EPA Emission systems. For pre-OBDII Federally registered vehicles, it also meets those standards.
This converter features a highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction, so you can count on it to last. The tubing is made from strong 16-gauge 409 stainless steel, which adds to its service life. MagnaFlow also crafts it to mimic the flow dynamics of OEM parts, helping to maintain your vehicle's factory performance and fuel efficiency. Because it's a universal part, you'll need to cut and weld it into place, but its compact and lightweight design makes installation in tight spaces manageable. The welds are durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds.
Keep in mind that this converter is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. You will need to cut and weld this part into your exhaust system.
