They are a flat-top design with a -5.8cc dish, contributing to a 10.2:1 compression ratio when paired with a 6.125-inch rod and a 0.927-inch pin. Each piston weighs approximately 454 grams.

Mahle uses 4032 aluminum alloy for these pistons, which offers a good balance of strength and thermal expansion properties.
