If you're building a high-performance Big Block Chevy engine, especially a 565 cubic inch stroker, this Mahle MS Piston Set is a solid foundation. These pistons are designed for the standard deck height of 9.800 inches and are built to handle the demands of a powerful engine.

Mahle uses a 4032 aluminum alloy for these pistons, which offers a good balance of strength and thermal expansion properties, making them well-suited for performance applications. Each piston features a 13cc dome volume, and when paired with a 4.250-inch stroke crankshaft and a 6.385-inch connecting rod, they achieve a 10.9:1 compression ratio. This compression ratio is ideal for naturally aspirated performance builds using high-octane fuel. The pistons come with a 0.990-inch pin and weigh approximately 570 grams each, which helps to keep reciprocating mass in check for improved engine response.
