These Mahle MS pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a strong material chosen for its ability to handle high cylinder pressures and temperatures without deforming. They are designed for GM LS engines displacing 366 cubic inches, with a bore size of 4.010 inches and a 3.622-inch stroke. The 6.125-inch rod length and 0.927-inch pin diameter are standard for many LS applications, ensuring compatibility with common rotating assemblies.

With a 12cc dish volume, these pistons achieve a 11.9:1 compression ratio when paired with a suitable cylinder head. This higher compression ratio can lead to improved throttle response and more efficient combustion, especially when using performance camshafts and tuning. Each piston weighs approximately 470 grams, contributing to a well-balanced rotating assembly for smoother engine operation at higher RPMs. This set includes eight pistons, ready for a complete engine rebuild.
