These Mahle MS forged pistons are built for a 361 cubic inch Small Block Chevrolet engine, featuring a 4.050 inch bore. Forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its strength and durability under high stress, these pistons are designed to handle the demands of performance builds. The 3.500 inch stroke compatibility, paired with a 6.125 inch rod length, contributes to the engine's overall displacement and performance characteristics.

Each piston has a compression height of 1.125 inches and a dish volume of -8.9cc, which helps achieve a calculated compression ratio of 12.1:1 with a typical 64cc cylinder head. This specific compression ratio is a notable choice for naturally aspirated or forced induction applications where optimized power output is key.
