Built with 4032 aluminum alloy, this Mahle MS Piston Set is designed for serious performance builds targeting a 406 cubic inch displacement from a Chevrolet Small Block engine. The 4.125-inch bore combined with a 3.480 or 3.500-inch stroke and a 6.125-inch rod length creates the foundation for a powerful engine. These pistons are specifically engineered to work with a 3.480/3.500-inch stroke crankshaft and a 6.125-inch connecting rod, ensuring proper geometry and clearance within the cylinder.

Each piston features a -16cc dish volume, which, when paired with the specified bore and stroke, helps achieve a 10.1:1 compression ratio. This compression level is well-suited for naturally aspirated or forced induction applications where a balance of power and pump gas compatibility is desired. The included 0.927-inch wrist pins are robust and ready for the stresses of high-performance operation.
