If you're rebuilding the engine in your 1993-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser, or 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer, these Manley Performance forged pistons are a solid option. They're designed to handle the demands of a performance engine build, offering a significant step up from stock cast pistons. These pistons are 86.0mm in bore size, which is 1.0mm over the standard bore, and feature a flat top design with a 10.0 to 10.5:1 compression ratio, depending on your cylinder head volume.

Manley uses domestic 2618 alloy forgings for these pistons, which are known for their strength and ability to withstand higher temperatures and pressures. They come with premium chrome moly wrist pins for added durability, and the skirt profiles are carefully shaped to reduce friction and wear on the cylinder walls while still generating power. The ring lands and grooves are machined to strict standards to ensure a good seal with the piston rings, which is crucial for engine performance and efficiency. Manley's unique manufacturing process allows them to machine the skirt and ring grooves in one operation, ensuring the grooves are perfectly square to the skirt for optimal ring seal.

These pistons are intended for performance engine builds and are not CARB approved, meaning they cannot be shipped to California. They are sold as a set and include the necessary piston rings.
