When you're rebuilding the heart of your 1993-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser, or 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer, you're getting a set of Manley Performance pistons, complete with rings. The pistons themselves are 85.5mm in bore size, which is a 0.5mm overbore from stock, and feature a dish design that results in a compression ratio of 8.5:1. This setup is designed to work with a 100mm stroke crankshaft.

Manley puts a lot of thought into how these pistons interact with your engine. They use proven cam and barrel profiles on the skirts, which helps them run smoothly against the cylinder walls while still generating substantial power. The ring lands and grooves are machined to very precise standards, which is crucial for getting a good seal with the included rings, leading to better compression and more power.
