If you're rebuilding the top end of your 2018 and up Ford Coyote 5.0L engine, this Manley Platinum Series piston is a solid choice. It's designed with a +1cc dish to achieve an 11:1 compression ratio, which is a popular target for many performance builds. This single piston is made from domestic 2618 alloy forgings, known for its strength and ability to handle the demands of a performance engine.
Manley uses proven cam and barrel skirt profiles on these pistons, which helps them generate power while also being gentler on your cylinder walls during operation. The ring lands and grooves are machined to strict standards, contributing to a better ring seal and ultimately, more power. Each piston comes with premium chrome moly wrist pins, and Manley's unique fixturing process ensures the ring grooves are perfectly square to the skirt for optimal performance.
