This set includes four forged pistons from Manley Performance, designed for Mitsubishi 4G64 and 4G63 engines commonly found in 1995-1999 models. These pistons feature an 87mm bore and a 94mm stroke, with a dish volume of -17cc, resulting in a compression ratio of 8.5:1. They are built for heavy-duty use, making them a solid choice for performance engine builds.

Manley uses domestic 2618 alloy forgings for these pistons, which are known for their strength and ability to handle demanding conditions. The pistons come with premium chrome moly wrist pins, and Manley's signature cam and barrel skirt profiles are incorporated to help generate power while minimizing wear on the cylinder walls. They also feature exacting ring lands and grooves, which are machined to strict standards to ensure a better ring seal and ultimately, more power. Manley's unique fixturing process allows them to machine the skirt and ring grooves in one operation, ensuring the ring grooves stay square to the skirt for optimal performance.
