Product Details
This set includes eight Manley Extreme Duty exhaust valves, each measuring 2.350 inches in diameter and 0.350 inches longer than stock. These valves are specifically crafted for Big Block Chevy engines, designed to handle the demanding conditions of high-temperature gasoline applications.
Manley uses XH-428 material for these exhaust valves, a material that offers nearly double the ultimate tensile strength at 1500°F compared to other common exhaust valve materials like EV-8. This well-built material, combined with features like swirl-polished under-head areas and fully machined combustion faces, helps improve airflow and combustion efficiency. Rigorous fatigue testing shows these valves can endure up to 100 million cycles at 40,000 psi and 1400°F, significantly outlasting many competitors that fail much sooner.
The valves also feature chrome stems and hard tips, adding to their overall durability and longevity in your engine build.
