Manley Billet Double Roller Timing Chain Kit for Chevy LS-2 w/ Torrington Thrust Bearing

When you're rebuilding the top end of your LS-2 engine, getting the timing dialed in is crucial. This kit from Manley Performance gives you everything you need to set up your timing chain accurately. You get a fully machined billet steel camshaft sprocket and a billet steel crankshaft sprocket. The crankshaft sprocket is a nine-keyway unit, which lets you adjust your timing settings by 0, +/- 2, +/- 4, +/- 6, or +/- 8 degrees, giving you flexibility to fine-tune your engine's performance.

The roller chain itself is built with .250-inch diameter rollers for durability. A notable feature is the captive Torrington thrust bearing that comes pre-installed on the camshaft sprocket. This helps manage thrust loads and ensures smooth operation. Manley designed this kit so you won't need to grind or modify your timing cover during installation, making the job more straightforward. Just keep in mind, this kit isn't recommended for setups with valve spring pressures over 450 lbs.
