The connecting rods are also made from 4340 forged steel in an H-beam design, and they come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws. For even higher horsepower applications, you can opt for ARP 2000 cap screws, which can support up to 1,500 horsepower. The pistons are 2618 forged aluminum from Manley's Platinum Series, and they include Premium Chrome Moly wrist pins for durability. This setup is rated for 900 horsepower with the standard ARP 8740 bolts.
