This Manley rotating assembly kit for the Ford 4.6L 3V engine includes a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, 4340 forged steel H-Beam connecting rods, 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons, high-performance piston rings, and high-performance Clevite "H" Series rod bearings. The crankshaft features a 3.572-inch bore and a 3.750-inch stroke, paired with pistons that have a -14cc dish. This balanced assembly is designed to handle increased performance demands.
The connecting rods are constructed from strong 4340 forged steel and come equipped with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, with an option for ARP 2000 cap screws for even greater clamping force. The Platinum Series pistons are made from 2618 forged aluminum, known for its strength and durability under high temperatures and pressures. They include premium chrome moly wrist pins for added reliability. The kit also features high-performance piston rings and narrowed Clevite "H" Series rod bearings, which are designed for high-load applications and help maintain proper oil clearance.
