Manley Performance has a solid reputation for building strong engine parts. These valve spring retainers are specifically made for LT4 engines, designed to handle higher RPMs and keep your valvetrain working right. They're made from 6AL-4V titanium, which is a really strong material that also happens to be very light. This helps reduce the overall weight in your valvetrain, which can improve how high your engine can safely rev.
When you're putting these retainers on, you'll need to use them with 7-degree valve locks. Manley recommends their own part number 13098, or you can use the factory Chevrolet LT4 valve locks. These retainers are designed to fit with an installed height that's about 0.055 inches taller than the standard 23611 part. They're CNC machined to be strong and precise, ensuring they work well with your engine's valve springs.
