This BBC rotating assembly is a prime example, designed for builders who need a strong foundation for a high-horsepower engine. It features a 4.000-inch stroke crankshaft forged from 4340 steel, providing the core strength needed for big block power. The included 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods are fitted with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, with an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 fasteners for even greater strength.
The pistons are Manley's Platinum Series, made from 2618 forged aluminum and come with premium chrome moly wrist pins. This combination is built to withstand the demands of powerful engines. With the standard ARP 8740 bolts, this assembly is rated for up to 900 horsepower. If you opt for the ARP 2000 cap screws, the assembly is capable of handling an impressive 1,500 horsepower, making it suitable for many extreme build applications. This assembly is a well-built starting point for a custom BBC build where reliability and power are paramount.
Please note that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. It also carries a Prop 65 warning.
