This Manley Performance rotating assembly is a well-built package for a BBC (Big Block Chevrolet) engine, featuring a 4.000-inch stroke and a 4.530-inch bore with a +2cc piston dish. What you get in this kit is a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, and 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons. This assembly is designed to handle serious power, with the included 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws supporting up to 900 horsepower, and the option for ARP 2000 cap screws to push that limit to 1,500 horsepower.

The crankshaft is forged from 4340 steel, a strong material known for its durability under high stress. The H-beam connecting rods are also made from 4340 forged steel, offering a solid balance of strength and weight. These rods come equipped with 7/16?
