If you're building a serious big-block Chevrolet (BBC) engine, a strong rotating assembly is the heart of the operation. This Manley Performance rotating assembly is designed for the 548 cubic inch displacement, featuring a 4.250-inch stroke and pistons with a -20cc dish. It's a well-built foundation for a high-performance engine build, capable of handling significant power.

At its core is a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and durability under stress. Paired with this are 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods come standard with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, a solid choice for many performance applications. For those pushing the limits, there's an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 cap screws, which Manley rates for up to 1,500 horsepower. The pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum in Manley's Platinum Series, complete with premium chrome moly wrist pins for reliable operation. This combination is engineered to support up to 900 horsepower with the standard ARP 8740 bolts, and up to 1,500 horsepower with the optional ARP 2000 bolts.

This assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. It's a serious component for a serious engine build, offering a robust starting point for power levels that demand reliable internal engine components.
