Starting with a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, this Manley rotating assembly is built for serious performance. The 4.250-inch stroke combined with a 4.560-inch bore creates a 555 cubic inch displacement for your big block Chevrolet engine. This assembly is designed to handle significant power, rated for up to 900 horsepower with standard ARP 8740 cap screws, and can be upgraded to support an impressive 1,500 horsepower when using optional ARP 2000 cap screws.

The connecting rods are also constructed from robust 4340 forged steel in an H-beam design, ensuring strength and reliability under high stress. Paired with these are 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons, known for their durability and performance characteristics. These pistons come complete with premium chrome moly wrist pins, a critical component for smooth operation and longevity in high-performance applications. The -3cc piston dish helps achieve a specific compression ratio suitable for many performance builds.
