This Manley rotating assembly includes a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, and 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons. The connecting rods come with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, with an option for ARP 2000 cap screws for increased strength. The pistons also include premium chrome moly wrist pins.
This assembly is built for serious power. With the standard ARP 8740 cap screws on the rods, it's rated for up to 900 horsepower. If you opt for the ARP 2000 cap screws, this rotating assembly can handle an impressive 1,500 horsepower. The 4.250-inch stroke and 4.560-inch bore with a +43cc piston volume are key dimensions for building a potent 555 cubic inch BBC engine.
