If you're building a serious big-block Chevrolet engine for high-horsepower applications, a robust rotating assembly is the heart of the build. This Manley Performance BBC 555 rotating assembly is designed to handle the demands of powerful street or race engines, offering a solid foundation for builds aiming for significant power output.

At its core is a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, known for its strength and durability under extreme stress. Paired with this are 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, which are fitted with 7/16" ARP 8740 cap screws for reliable connection. For even higher power levels, optional ARP 2000 cap screws are available, allowing this assembly to support up to 1,500 horsepower. The pistons are Manley's Platinum Series, made from 2618 forged aluminum for a good balance of strength and light weight, and they come complete with Premium Chrome Moly wrist pins.

This assembly is configured for a 555 cubic inch displacement with a 4.250 inch stroke and 4.560 inch bore, featuring a +43cc piston dish volume. It's important to note that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
