This Manley rotating assembly includes a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, and 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons. The connecting rods come equipped with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, with an option for ARP 2000 cap screws for increased strength. The pistons also include premium chrome moly wrist pins.
This BBC (Big Block Chevrolet) 565ci assembly features a 4.250 inch stroke and 4.600 inch bore with a -3cc piston dish. The 4340 forged steel crankshaft is a strong foundation for a high-performance engine build. The H-beam connecting rods are well-suited for the demands of a powerful engine, and the forged aluminum pistons are designed for durability and performance. With the standard ARP 8740 cap screws, this assembly is rated for up to 900 horsepower.
