This Manley rotating assembly includes a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, and 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons with Premium Chrome Moly wrist pins. It’s designed for BBC (Big Block Chevrolet) engines with a 565 cubic inch displacement, featuring a 4.250 inch stroke and a 4.600 inch bore with a -3cc piston dish.

The crankshaft and connecting rods are forged from 4340 steel, a strong material known for its durability under high stress, making it ideal for performance engine builds. The H-beam rod design offers a good balance of strength and weight. The pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, which handles high temperatures and pressures well, and they come with premium chrome moly wrist pins for added reliability. This assembly is rated for up to 900 horsepower when using the standard ARP 8740 cap screws, and can handle up to 1,500 horsepower if you opt for the ARP 2000 cap screws.
