These rods come standard with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, a popular choice for many performance builds, but you can opt for ARP 2000 cap screws for even more strength, allowing the assembly to handle up to 1,500 horsepower. The pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, part of Manley's Platinum Series, and include premium chrome moly wrist pins. These pistons are designed for a 4.600 inch bore with a 43cc dish, which helps achieve a specific compression ratio depending on your cylinder heads and block deck height.

This rotating assembly is designed for engines making up to 900 horsepower with the standard ARP 8740 bolts, and up to 1,500 horsepower when equipped with the optional ARP 2000 cap screws. It's important to note that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
