At its core is a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and durability under high stress. Paired with this are 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods come standard with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, capable of handling up to 900 horsepower. For those pushing the limits, an upgrade to optional ARP 2000 cap screws is available, raising the horsepower ceiling to a robust 1,500 HP. The assembly also includes 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons, known for their excellent thermal stability and strength, complete with premium chrome moly wrist pins.
