When you're building a serious BBC 572 engine, starting with a well-matched rotating assembly is key. This Manley Performance rotating assembly gives you the core components you need to get your build underway. It includes a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, a set of 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, and 2618 forged aluminum pistons. This combination is designed to handle significant power, making it a solid foundation for a high-performance street or race engine.

The crankshaft is forged from 4340 steel, a material known for its strength and durability under high stress. The H-beam connecting rods are also made from 4340 forged steel and come equipped with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws. If you plan on pushing your engine even harder, you can opt for ARP 2000 cap screws, which allow this assembly to handle up to 1,500 horsepower. The pistons are Manley's Platinum Series, forged from 2618 aluminum and include Premium Chrome Moly wrist pins. This assembly is rated for 900 horsepower with the standard ARP 8740 bolts, and up to 1,500 horsepower when upgraded to ARP 2000 bolts.
