When you're building a serious BBC 572ci engine, starting with a well-built rotating assembly is key. This Manley Performance rotating assembly gives you the core components to build a strong foundation. You get a 4340 forged steel crankshaft with a 4.250-inch stroke, designed to handle the demands of a high-performance big block Chevrolet. It's paired with 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, which are known for their strength and reliability in performance applications. These rods come ready for 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, with an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 cap screws for even more robust performance.
The pistons included are Manley's Platinum Series, made from 2618 forged aluminum for excellent strength-to-weight ratio and durability. They come with premium chrome moly wrist pins. This assembly is rated for up to 900 horsepower when using the standard ARP 8740 bolts, and can handle an impressive 1,500 horsepower if you opt for the ARP 2000 cap screws. This makes it a solid choice for a wide range of powerful BBC builds. Please note that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
