Manley Rotating Assembly, BBC 582 4.375 STROKE/4.600/+43cc

This Manley rotating assembly is built for big block Chevrolet (BBC) engines, specifically designed for a 582 cubic inch displacement with a 4.375-inch stroke and a 4.600-inch bore. It's a well-built package for those looking to build a serious performance engine, capable of handling significant horsepower.

At the heart of this assembly is a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and durability under high stress. Paired with it are 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods come standard with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, a solid choice for many performance builds. For even higher demands, there's an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 cap screws, which increases the horsepower range this assembly can reliably handle.

The pistons are 2618 forged aluminum, part of Manley's Platinum Series, and they include Premium Chrome Moly wrist pins. This combination of materials and design means the pistons are strong enough for performance applications while remaining relatively lightweight. With the standard ARP 8740 cap screws, this assembly is rated for up to 900 horsepower. If you opt for the ARP 2000 cap screws, that rating increases to a substantial 1,500 horsepower, giving you a lot of flexibility for your build.
