Manley Performance is well-known for making strong, reliable internal engine components. This BBC rotating assembly is a prime example of their commitment to building parts that can handle serious power. If you're building a big block Chevrolet engine for high-performance applications, this assembly is designed to be the heart of your build.
This kit includes a 4340 forged steel crankshaft and matching 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. The rods come standard with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, but you can opt for even stronger ARP 2000 cap screws for applications demanding maximum durability. Paired with these are 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons, complete with premium chrome moly wrist pins. This combination of materials and construction means the assembly is built to withstand significant stress and heat.
With the standard ARP 8740 bolts, this assembly is rated for up to 900 horsepower. If you choose the optional ARP 2000 cap screws, that rating increases to an impressive 1,500 horsepower. This makes it a solid choice for a wide range of powerful engine builds. Please note that this part is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
