The crankshaft is forged from 4340 steel, giving it the inherent strength needed to handle the stresses of a 632 cubic inch displacement and a 4.750-inch stroke. The H-beam connecting rods are also made from 4340 forged steel and come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, with an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 bolts for even greater strength. These rods are built to handle significant loads and keep your pistons securely connected to the crankshaft. The Platinum Series pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its strength and thermal expansion properties, and they come with premium chrome moly wrist pins for durability.

This assembly is rated for up to 900 horsepower when using the standard ARP 8740 cap screws. If your build aims for more extreme power levels, upgrading to the optional ARP 2000 cap screws allows this rotating assembly to support an impressive 1,500 horsepower.
