This Manley rotating assembly gives you the core components for a robust SBC 355 engine build. Inside this kit, you'll find a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, strong 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, and 2618 forged aluminum pistons. It's a well-built package designed to handle serious power.
The crankshaft is forged from 4340 steel, offering a solid foundation for your engine. Paired with it are the H-beam connecting rods, also made from 4340 forged steel. These rods come equipped with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws for reliable fastening, with an option to upgrade to even stronger ARP 2000 cap screws if your build demands it. The pistons are Manley's Platinum Series, crafted from 2618 forged aluminum and include premium chrome moly wrist pins for durability. This combination is rated for up to 750 horsepower with the standard ARP 8740 bolts, and can handle an impressive 1,500 horsepower when you opt for the ARP 2000 cap screws.
