Manley Performance has a long history of building strong, reliable engine components for racers and performance enthusiasts. This rotating assembly is designed for a Small Block Chevrolet (SBC) engine, specifically a 355 cubic inch displacement with a 3.480-inch stroke. It’s a complete package to get your engine’s bottom end built right.

At the heart of this assembly is a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and ability to handle high RPMs without flexing. Paired with this are 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods are robust and come ready to accept either ARP 8740 or optional ARP 2000 cap screws, allowing you to tailor the strength to your specific horsepower goals. The pistons are Manley's Platinum Series, made from 2618 forged aluminum, known for its durability and thermal stability under load. They also include premium chrome moly wrist pins, which are strong and lightweight.

This assembly is rated for up to 750 horsepower when using the standard ARP 8740 cap screws. If you're planning for more power, upgrading to the optional ARP 2000 cap screws raises that capability to an impressive 1,500 horsepower. This makes it a solid option for a wide range of performance builds, from street machines to more serious drag racing applications.
