The Platinum Series pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its thermal expansion properties, and they come with Premium Chrome Moly wrist pins. This combination is built to handle horsepower ranging from 750 with the standard ARP 8740 bolts up to 1,500 horsepower when using the optional ARP 2000 cap screws.
