Built from lightweight 4340 forged steel, this Manley rotating assembly is designed for serious performance in your SBC 355 engine. The 3.480-inch stroke crankshaft is the heart of this package, paired with robust 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods come standard with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, but can be upgraded to ARP 2000 screws for even greater strength.
The included 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons are a lightweight choice, featuring Premium Chrome Moly wrist pins for durability. This combination is engineered to handle a significant horsepower range. With the standard ARP 8740 cap screws, this assembly is rated for up to 750 horsepower. Opting for the ARP 2000 cap screws raises that capability to an impressive 1,500 horsepower, making it suitable for high-performance builds where power is a priority.
