The connecting rods are also crafted from 4340 forged steel in an H-beam design, a strong choice for handling increased cylinder pressures. They come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, which are rated for up to 750 horsepower. If your build targets even higher output, you can opt for ARP 2000 cap screws, pushing the assembly's capability up to 1,500 horsepower. The pistons are 2618 forged aluminum from Manley's Platinum Series, paired with premium chrome moly wrist pins for durability under stress.
