Manley Performance is well-known for making strong, reliable internal engine components. This rotating assembly is built for a 355 cubic inch Small Block Chevy and features a 3.480-inch stroke. It’s a complete package designed to handle serious power, whether you're building a street machine or a dedicated race engine.
At the heart of this assembly is a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and ability to withstand high RPMs. Paired with this are Manley's Pro Series Lightweight I-Beam connecting rods, which come equipped with 7/16? ARP 2000 cap screws for a secure and robust connection. The pistons are 2618 forged aluminum from their Platinum Series, complete with Premium Chrome Moly wrist pins. This combination of materials and design means the assembly is built to last and perform under pressure.
This rotating assembly is rated for up to 750 horsepower when used with ARP 8740 cap screws, and can handle an impressive 1,500 horsepower with the optional ARP 2000 cap screws. It’s important to note that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. Always refer to the manufacturer's installation instructions for proper assembly and balancing procedures.
