When you're building a serious Small Block Chevy, getting the core rotating assembly right is crucial. This Manley Performance rotating assembly gives you a well-built foundation for a 383 cubic inch engine, featuring a 3.750-inch stroke and pistons with an +11cc dome. You'll receive a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, designed for strength and reduced rotational mass. Paired with this are 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods come standard with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, but you have the option to upgrade to ARP 2000 cap screws for even more strength.
The pistons included are Manley's Platinum Series, made from 2618 forged aluminum for durability under high stress. They also come with premium chrome moly wrist pins. This assembly is rated for up to 750 horsepower with the standard ARP 8740 fasteners, and can handle up to 1,500 horsepower if you opt for the ARP 2000 cap screws. This is a solid choice for a performance build where reliability and strength are key.
Keep in mind that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. Always refer to the manufacturer's installation instructions for proper assembly and torque specifications.
