What you get in this Manley rotating assembly is a complete package to rebuild the heart of your small block Chevy engine. This kit is built around a 383 cubic inch displacement with a 3.750-inch stroke, designed for +11cc dome pistons. It includes a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, robust 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, and 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons. The pistons come with premium chrome moly wrist pins, and the connecting rods are equipped with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, with an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 cap screws for even higher performance applications.
This assembly is well-built for serious performance. The 4340 forged steel crankshaft and connecting rods offer a strong foundation capable of handling significant power. The 2618 forged aluminum pistons are chosen for their strength and ability to withstand high temperatures and pressures.
