At its core is a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and ability to handle high RPMs and significant stress. Paired with this are 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods come standard with ARP 8740 cap screws, capable of handling up to 750 horsepower, but can be upgraded with optional ARP 2000 cap screws to support an impressive 1,500 horsepower. The assembly includes 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons, known for their durability and thermal stability under extreme conditions. These pistons come complete with premium chrome moly wrist pins, a strong choice for high-performance applications.
