This Manley Performance rotating assembly is built for SBC (Small Block Chevrolet) engines, specifically configured for a 383 cubic inch displacement with a 3.750-inch stroke and -15cc dish pistons. It's a well-built package designed for builders looking to significantly increase their engine's power output. This assembly includes a crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons, forming the core of your engine's rotating assembly.
The crankshaft is forged from 4340 steel, offering a strong foundation for high-performance applications. Paired with this are 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods come standard with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, capable of handling up to 750 horsepower. For those aiming higher, there's an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 cap screws, which can support an impressive 1,500 horsepower. The pistons are 2618 forged aluminum from Manley's Platinum Series, complete with premium chrome moly wrist pins, ensuring durability and performance under stress.
