Manley Performance is well-known for making strong internal engine components, and this 383 cubic inch rotating assembly for Small Block Chevy engines is a prime example. It includes a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, robust 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, and durable 2618 forged aluminum pistons, all engineered to work together as a balanced unit.

The crankshaft is forged from 4340 steel, offering a solid foundation for your engine build. The H-beam connecting rods are also made from 4340 forged steel and come equipped with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, with an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 cap screws for even greater strength. These rods are built to withstand the stresses of high-RPM operation. The included Platinum Series pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its strength and ability to handle high temperatures, and they come with premium chrome moly wrist pins for added durability.

This rotating assembly is rated for up to 750 horsepower when using the standard ARP 8740 cap screws. If your build demands more, upgrading to the optional ARP 2000 cap screws on the connecting rods raises that capability to an impressive 1,500 horsepower.
