This Manley rotating assembly starts with a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft featuring a 3.750-inch stroke, designed for SBC (Small Block Chevrolet) engines. The choice of 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, offers a robust foundation for high-performance builds. These rods are also available with optional ARP 2000 cap screws for even greater strength.
The assembly includes 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons, known for their durability and heat resistance. These pistons come with premium chrome moly wrist pins, ensuring reliable operation under stress. This combination is engineered to handle significant horsepower, rated for up to 750 horsepower with the standard ARP 8740 fasteners and up to 1,500 horsepower when opting for the ARP 2000 cap screws. This makes it a solid choice for builders looking to significantly increase their engine's power output.
