This Manley rotating assembly gives you a complete package for building a robust 383 cubic inch small block Chevy engine. Inside this kit, you'll find a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods fitted with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, and 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons. These pistons feature a flat top design with a -4cc dish, and they come with premium chrome moly wrist pins.

The components in this assembly are built for serious performance. The 4340 forged steel construction for both the crankshaft and connecting rods means they can handle significant stress and heat. The H-beam design of the connecting rods offers a strong balance of strength and weight, further enhanced by the included ARP fasteners. These pistons are also forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its strength and ability to withstand high temperatures and pressures, making them suitable for demanding builds.

This rotating assembly is rated for a horsepower range of up to 750 horsepower when using the standard ARP 8740 cap screws. If you plan on pushing your engine harder, you can opt for ARP 2000 series cap screws, which will allow this assembly to handle up to 1,500 horsepower.
