This Manley rotating assembly starts with a 4.000-inch stroke crankshaft forged from 4340 steel, a material known for its strength and durability under high stress. This is the heart of a serious engine build, designed to handle significant power increases over stock configurations for Small Block Chevy (SBC) engines. The assembly is balanced to reduce vibration and ensure smooth operation, even at high RPMs.

Complementing the crankshaft are Manley's 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods are robust and feature 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws for secure fastening, with an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 cap screws for even greater strength. The pistons are Manley's Platinum Series, made from 2618 forged aluminum and come with premium chrome moly wrist pins. These pistons are dished by -20cc, which helps achieve a specific compression ratio when paired with the right cylinder heads and block. This combination is rated for 750 horsepower with the standard ARP 8740 fasteners and can handle up to 1,500 horsepower when upgraded to ARP 2000 cap screws, making it a solid choice for performance builds.
